Elisabeth is Still Crazy; Elisabeth, Unlikely Voice of Reason
On Wednesday, Elisabitch Hasslecunt threw in a low blow against the Health Care Bill. She said American Idol was the only place that we still get to vote on. It was neither true or funny. Sheri was like, "Hold on, whatyajustsay?" Whoopie, quickly shot back with "Like the war! Like America voted on the war. Yeah!" Knowing she was loosing, she dropped the subject.
Then today she spoke out against the violence that some Republicans and Teabaggers are inciting. Sarah Palin released a list of congress members with a rifle crosshairs on a map. See below. She also said it is time to "reload" on this movement. EH agreed with Joy (reluctantly) that inciting violence is wrong and it needs to stop. Elisabeth: Unlikely Voice of Reason.

Elisabeth Hasselcunt is Crazy
I was very interested in watching the View yesterday after the passage of the health care bill over the weekend. Elisabitch Hasselcunt did not disappoint in bringing crazy to the table. First she excuses bigotry as people just being "fired up". Sherri did not let her get away from it. Then she changes the "Hot Topic" they are talking about spouting teabaggery talking points. Whoopi got so frustrated she has to take a few deeps breaths and remind herself to breathe. Of course she pretends to be the oppressed one like she always does. She constantly lies and says the majority of Americans don't want this bill, when 80% of the people at that table seems to be in favor of it. She thinks that 212 is more than 219. But the best is her outfit. She is wearing an Anne Coulter style cocktail dress in the early morning as if she was out partying all night and just wandered in. The other ladies are dressed more appropriately. Here is the clip.
Luckily they had only a limited time to talk about the landmark legislation that effects millions of Americans and the sixth largest industry (or whatever the metric is, I don't care enough to spend 20 seconds google-ing it; I'd rather spend 60 seconds writing about why I don't care) because they had to more on to the more important topic of Tiger Woods latest interview. Stay classy, ladies of The View.

Mario Cantone
Here's a wonderful post-Christmas gift from The View and Mario Cantone. This segment was worth sitting through Barbara Wawa and Elisabitch Hasslecunt for the last couple months.

The New View Review Coming Right at You

Last week, FoDtvB Matt had a great series of blog posts about what a horrible person Elisabitch Hasselcunt is. This week we learned some more about the girls of The View.
- Whoopie has bronchitis.
- Joy and Elisabitch are addicted to their Blackberry's
- The only thing Elisabitch got from Sen. Obama's great race speech this week was that he threw his grandmother under the bus.
- Touching Sherri's boobs are an occupational hazard, but...
- Don't touch Barabara's boob!
- Elisabitch Hasslecunt would rather commit murder-suicide than have her husband cheat on her. He should run away from her as fast as he can. She is a psycho just waiting to snap.

Wonder-wonder-wonder Falls
I love Pushing Daisies. It is the best new show of the fall. It’s not just that it is a fun and quirky detective show. It’s all the other absurdities. Like the car the runs on dandelions. Or the aunts who were synchronized swimmers. Or the windmill village. Or the pop-up book store. So I love this show and it got picked up for a full season. Although with the writer’s strike that could be only nine episodes. Last night was the last new episode until the strike is over. There was a surprising twist revealed at the end which was obviously planned from the onset of the show. Dana Delany said on The View this week that Marc Cherry is confident the strike will be over by Monday. Let’s hope.
Since I love Pushing Daisies so much and so immediately, I checked out the other shows created by its creator, Bryan Fuller. Dead Like Me ran for two seasons and is currently in my Netflix queue. The short lived Wonderfalls only had 13 episodes and was fantastic. I think the main reason that show didn’t make it was due to unrealized expectations. That show appeared to be about a girl who inanimate objects would talk to and tell her to do things. This is true, but the show was about much more. The more was her crazy family, including Pushing Daisies Lee Pace as Jaye’s brother. The stuff would tell her to do stuff which would lead her to misadventures with her family. After only a few episodes these incredibly rich characters were starting to overshadow the Wax Lions and Barrel Bears. I don’t think FOX ever understood the show and they cancelled it after four episodes. Luckily all 13 are available on DVD. Be sure to watch the finale episode opening credits with the commentary track to hear several of the cast members singing along with the theme song, “I Wonder Why the Wonder Falls.”Labels: Pushing Daisies, The View, Wonderfalls

Barbara is a Tool!
So Barbara often says she doesn't like to express opinions since she is a news person. That's a great policy, but she still knows where her paycheck comes from. Today on the View, she shut down a very interesting pro-writers Hot Topic discussion. The writers are fighting the networks (and production companies) and that is ultimately who Barbara is loyal to.The writer's strike is the biggest story in Hollywood right now. Or really it should be but isn't. Entertainment Weekly has a story on the strike in every issue. The latest issue had four stories. But that's a magazine. The entertainment news programs, like Entertainment Tonight and Access Hollywood, barely talk about it. That's because those in charge of the shows are the opponents of the strikers. If I were them, I wouldn't give publicity to my enemy either.
Today Whoopie snuck the strike into Hot Topics since that was the reason a couple guests decided not to come on the show as scheduled. Whoopie and Joy talked about who is on strike and why and why that aren't and what guilds there are in and that they support the writers. Barbara said, "you are boring everyone," and they moved onto another topic. While it wasn't as captivating as the British septuagenarian women bonking young Kenyan men, it was still one of their best topics. I'm sure someone was yelling in Barbara's ear piece to get off the topic. She is such a tool.

Whoopie!
- Whoopie created controversy on her first day by being a black apologist for Michael Vick. She later said she wasn't trying to make excuses but was just explaining what she sees as his point of view. I think the bigger controversy should be the fact that she suggested that southerners were so uncivilized they would realize killing dogs for sport was not right. He knew what he was doing was wrong.
- Elisabitch waited until day 2 of the season to bash President Clinton. Like many other Republicans she can't stop trying to rewrite how great of a president he was with every opportunity. I hate her.
- All of them seem to completely believe in the guilt of Senator Craig. I don't think anyone in America believe he wasn't looking for sex. Ewww.
- A fifth panelist will be announced on Monday. This is good because everyone is sooooo old. Besides pregers Elisabitch, everyone else is menopausal. They need a late 30's, early 40's chick. Or maybe an 21 year old. Elisabitch is getting old.
